SALAD GREEN; Garden Orache Red

Atriplex hortensis rubra

Garden Orache can be used like spinach. This selection forms red leaves and can be grown on most types of soil. Can be used for baby-leaf production.

Sowing instructions:

Sow from March in rows 30cm apart. Sow in succession to harvest young leaves over a longer period.  When the plants get older, only harvest the leaves as the stems get woody.
